Home with a future

Which potential lies in the design of modern housing? From efficient and carbon-neutral energy supply to healthy indoor climate. The “home with a future” illustration depicts how innovative air and heating systems as well as specifically selected building materials improve our living comfort while simultaneously saving energy. Thanks to its solar panels and its own energy storage, the sustainable “home with a future” provides even more energy than it actually consumes.

The housing complex “NOVUM” in the city of Burgkirchen an der Alz demonstrates how energy efficient and sustainable living works. This housing complex is intended to be completed by 31/05/2022 and will comprise 45 housing units in total with 13 units designed for senior citizens to whom assistance and nursing services are offered. The energy concept is designed to produce the power for domestic appliances, e-mobility, roof greenery, the air-handling ceiling and the pellet heating system with photovoltaic systems.

In the city of Schrobenhausen, a “Multi-Park” is being built that combines living and working. The premises with more than 10,000 square meters will house six energy efficient buildings in total that follow healthy dwelling criteria. Some of which are intended to be move-in ready by May 2022. The intention of centralising living, working and infrastructure, in combination with less traffic, is to save CO2. Since the supply of cooling, heating, power and e-mobility comes from renewable energies, the sustainability concept of the park is a well-rounded picture.
